I am an artist using traditional and digital mediums to create vibrant portraits and scenes of color. My artwork employs bold and bright colors, a mixture of loose and ‘tight’ shapes to showcase joy, liberation, and leisure. In a more precise sense, I intend to portray the luxury of being a black femme, and not luxury in terms of class, but the innate grace and effortless cool that’s deeply a part of who we are. I draw inspiration from my role as a mother, daughter, sister, and friend. We are all artists, and each piece serves as an invitation to welcome the warmth of creativity.
